A company starts with an idea, a piece of paper and a pen.
In 1993 we came into being through Franita Bosman and her supporting husband, Philip. With knowledge and experience in identifying and establishing national product listings, Franita attained house brand/private label business for local manufacturers that soon escalated to success & national awards.
We started consulting to companies in “Getting, Keeping, Growing the business Profitably”. System & structure developments enabled sustainable growth, leading to exposure in formal & retail environments where we provided improved insights & assistance in strategic decision making.
This led our focus services - Key Accounts Management, Demand & Supply Planning & In-store Stock Management.
When data access opened, we became the only outsourced Demand & Supply service provider to a major SA retailer, supported by a major perishable supplier.
We received SAP accreditation and expanded our services to providing trustworthy, retailer-aligned insights. Our Key Accounting experience allowed us to develop our own in-house reporting system designed for the South African retail environment, empowering KAM’s with accurate real-time data with insight into stock health & availability, pre-empted issues, and root causes of problems.
Our demand and supply planning services expanded into other global retailers with consecutive years of achieving the best stock availability, even throughout Covid. With our result-driven focus on optimizing stock availability & maximising sales opportunities, the development of the KwikView® began.
We became the BD-Nav we are today, where our in-house system received Patent & Copyright status. With this, the D-Nav® toolkit came to fruition, as we partnered with major retailers navigating data for results, where our vendors' performance is measured, tracked, and used with great success.
